Day Mass: 9 am

Our Parish Advent Penance Service is scheduled for December 9, 2014, Tuesday, at 7:00 pm.  When was the last time you went to Confession? One of the precepts of the Church is to go to Confession at least once a year.  The Advent Penance Service is for those who have gone previously to Confession so the children and youth in First Communion classes should stay home on Dec. 9.  Your First Confession will take place in May next year.

For the others, if you have not been back to the Sacrament of Reconciliation since your first, or have not gone back for awhile, perhaps now is the time to go back.  If you are nervous or don’t know or forgot how to go to Confession, there are three short videos on YouTube that are excellent review for you.  Please watch these videos.  Here’s the links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz5-vu6A58E , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJg29UG6028 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib8pzvnnL20
