Indeed the Holy Spirit is always at work. Although inundated with countless problems, Paul, along with the other apostles' efforts, met with extraordinary success. Their achievements showcase the axiom that good often comes out of disappointment. God does write straight with crooked lines. An unfixable tragedy that cannot be seen as negotiable at the time often becomes a moment of grace. Who knew that a dull-looking caterpillar would one day become a beautiful butterfly?
In the brilliant light of Christ's resurrection, one lesson we can learn as we view the Church and the world today is that Christ's message may be misused to highlight one viewpoint or another.
Despite these trials in every age, Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, still lives and is active in the world. Jesus and his Father are still the most powerful.
Jesus leads us to the Father. For Jesus and the Father are one in the lamb. Nothing can block their passage at any age. This is the Good Shepherd, always standing as the beacon, encouraging and highlighting the way.
Peace & Blessings, Fr. Ese'ese "Ace" Tui
