Master Plan Update - February 10, 2019
Another milestone in the design process has been reached. With Design Schematics behind us we move into the Design Development phase.  In this phase we get into the details such as Liturgical Furnishings & Art:
- Pews & Chairs
- Altar
- Ambo
- Baptismal Font
- Stations of the Cross
- Miscellaneous; candles, processional cross, etc.
We also consider utilities, data communications, and fire & security systems during construction and at the end of construction.  Decisions on the type of flooring, roofing, interior/exterior finishes, insulation, doors, accents, lighting, sacrarium, audio/visual, HVAC, fencing & gates, and drainage & frontage improvements.
While Design Development progresses we must also implement several conditions of the Existing Use Permit in 1990 that were never addressed; the addition of 8 paved parking stalls and landscape screening on the east perimeter of the lot.  At this point we await DPP’s response to our request to extend the deadline to add the parking stalls until June after school lets out for the summer, and extend the requirement for landscape screening until post-construction.  Much activity for this year!
