Master Plan Update - December 16, 2018
Now that we’ve reached a major milestone by gaining approval of the Conditional Use Permit the design team can push forward by turning design concepts into design schematics.  We are currently engaged on 2 fronts; development of the design as it relates to structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components and the selection of materials, finishes and color palettes.
Structural engineering discussions encompass live & dead loads, lateral loads, seismic force ratings, foundations, structural steel & components, trusses, concrete, lumber, and all of the grades of materials required to meet acceptable design.
Electrical engineering addresses both the final electrical service and the interim service during construction.  Items such as interior/exterior lighting, data/telecom/audio visual infrastructure, fire & security system, and all of the sensors, switches, panels, wiring, etc. required for the project.
Mechanical engineering designs the plumbing system which includes piping & fixtures, HVAC systems, fire protection systems (sprinklers), and all of the components required to deliver turnkey systems to OLPH.
