Vaccine
"As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, this new year brings some hope in controlling the virus through vaccines. The State of Hawaii vaccination plan is being implemented at this time. You may have some moral or ethical concerns regarding the potential contents (compromised cell lines/fetal cells) of these vaccines in relation to our Catholic teaching and faith."  Click on the link below to read the Bishop's letter in its entirety.

Bishop Larry Silva announces the "Resumption of Sunday Mass Obligation":

Effective Easter Sunday, April 4 (or as of the Easter Vigil, April 3), I am ending the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, which has been in effect since mid-March, 2020. However, anyone who is sick, may have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, or who has a health condition that would endanger themselves or others by being present in church, continues to be dispensed.
Please click on the link below to read the Bishop's Memorandum in its entirety.

After months of COVID-19 lock-down, here are the OLPH Re-opening guidelines that will be inforce to allow us to gather in person as a faith community.  Please read the guidelines because they contain valuable information that will allow you to make reservations and secure the tickets for the Mass you and your family would like to attend.  A ticket is required for each person to attend Mass.  Click the link below for the guidelines.

Master Plan Update - October 7, 2018

On September 20th the Department of Planning & Permitting accepted our application for a Conditional Use Permit with 2 comments requesting; data demonstrating compliance with Land Use Ordinance parking lot landscaping standards and a summarization of the number and type of parking spaces in the overflow parking lot.  As of this writing corrections have been made to the application addressing both comments.  Although not finalized the reduction in comments particularly comments of a minor nature bodes well for final approval.  While we are optimistic, our experience, urges a little caution before we move forward with completion of the schematic design.
The Architectural, Civil Engineering & Landscaping designs are very far along, but we wait until final approval of the CUP prior to finalizing design. In order to keep the project moving forward in an efficient manner, we will begin having the Structural, Mechanical and Electrical teams begin their initial concepts for the project.  This effort will parallel with the DPP review.
