Master Plan Update - July 16, 2017
 
Design Team interviews were conducted either in-person or video conference as part of the committee’s analysis of each team’s proposal.  As indicated in the last update Design Team proposals had been received from Mitsunaga & Associates, Inc., G70 (formerly known as Group 70), Domus Studio/Inform Design, and Saavedra Gehlhausen.  The interviews were intended to provide the committee with a sense of both the Design Team’s approach & capabilities in the design process and their fit in working with the Parish.  Upon completion of the interviews an analysis of the proposals incorporating changes made during the interview and negotiating process was completed.  Although Saavedra Gehlhausen Architects took us through the Master Plan process the analysis of the competing proposals & interviews pointed to the team of Domus Studio/Inform Design as a better choice for this segment of the project.
We are in the process, with assistance from Rider Levett Bucknall, of preparing the final Diocesan Architectural Agreement for legal review and execution.  In the meantime the committee will work with Rider Levett Bucknall and Domus Studio/Inform Design in planning the first stage of the design process, Concept Design.
