     Now that the process of contract negotiation is underway and both successful and unsuccessful parties have be notified the Committee would like to introduce you to our selected partner in developing our Master Plan.  In the coming weeks we hope that you will come to recognize why they were selected.
     Daniel Saavedra & Guy Gehlhausen are partners in the firm Saavedra Gehlhausen Architects located in Rockford, Illinois and have collaborated on projects for over 25 years.  Although they have extensive experience primarily focused on religious facilities and education campuses they have worked on distinctive projects for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients throughout the United States and Central & South America.  Their offices consist of architects, planners, interior designers, technical, and clerical staff and partners with a network of outside specialists in civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering.  Their planning services include master planning, site analysis, site planning, and facilities assessment.  Beyond planning the firm provides services that include building programming, cost estimating, architectural
design, space planning, lighting, furnishings, and acoustical effectiveness. Saavedra Gehlhausen are the recipients of numerous awards from the American Institute of Architects, Faith & Form Magazine and the Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture (IFRAA), and various local awards.
