THE YEAR OF MERCY

DECEMBER 8, 2015 -
NOVEMBER 20, 2016

In the coming Sundays we will be recognizing our “parish treasures”, which are the individuals that serve at the different ministries within Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.  Last Sunday, we recognized those who are serving High School Religious Education Ministry.  This Sunday we would like to thank and recognize those serving within the Infant Baptism and Adult Faith Formation Ministry.  Thank you for your servant heart in being members of OLPH Ministries.

Praying Hands 2

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

CCD classes are back in session. We ask all drivers to drive slow and follow traffic rules.  Let us all keep our children safe.  In addition, the road by the garage and carport will be coned which means drivers cannot make a left turn by the garage from 8 am to 10:30 am.  You either turn right or drive into the school ground and exit through the other gate by Room 8.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Ash Wdnesday 2014
MARCH 5, 2014

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent and occurs forty-six days before Easter.  It gets its name from the practice of
placing ashes on the foreheads of the faithful as a sign of repentance.

“Remember, you are dust and to dust you shall return.” ~Genesis 3:19~

We pray that our hearts be stirred to turn away from sin as we prepare to welcome the God who is slow to anger, rich in kindness and mercy.

Ash Wednesday Mass Schedule:
8:15 am & 7 pm
Ash Wednesday Service at 5 pm

In Preparation for Ash Wednesday, please drop off your blessed Palms from last year by Monday March 3, 2014 at the Parish office or the entrance of the church.  Mahalo.
