 FOOD PANTRY IN NEED

Cup of Noodles Ramen

After a very successful food distribution last month, our cupboards are bare once more.  So, next weekend, February 4th & 5th, is Ramen or Cup of Noodles Weekend.  Your donation will make a huge difference in helping those in need.  Thank you so much for your continued generosity with our pantry clients!

The Edge

… faith-filled community for all cultures and ages dedicated to building the Kingdom of God…(OLPH Parish Mission Statement)

The EDGE is a radical new Catholic centered youth ministry aimed at young adolescents.  It is designed to meet their educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.  As part of the Catholic Church’s mission to evangelize and spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, middle school youths are encouraged to go out and bring their friends to The EDGE.

Goals:

allow early adolescents to experience the Word of God and Eucharist in a deep and
more profound way.
2. To create a positive experience of the Catholic Church for early adolescents.
3. To assist middle school youngsters in gaining an understanding and appreciation of
what the Catholic Church teaches and believes.
4. To incorporate the Catholic Church’s vision of social justice and peace into the
spiritual life of pre-adolescents.
5. To develop an understanding in middle school youth that they are a vital and visual
presence within the parish community.

Core Team:
1. Fully initiated and practicing Catholic
2. Willing to work with middle school youths.
