We prepare teens for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Requirements:

1. Fully initiated Catholic
2. Practicing Catholic
3. Knowledge of or familiarity with the Rite of Confirmation
4. Knowledge of or familiarity with diocesan and parish requirements for Confirmation
5. Must take Safe Environment training either on line or in person
6. Must take certification classes for catechists while serving.
7. Attend team meetings as needed
8. Willing to work with teens
9. Team player

What do I do as a Team Member?

1. Help prepare the lesson plan for the evening
2. Keep attendance and advise DRE of absences
3. Ensure all registration forms and other paper works are turned in to DRE
4. Advise DRE of needs for supplies and books
5. Set up respective areas for the night’s session: Conference Room for Confirmation I and
Church for Confirmation II
6. Clean up after class. Return the Conference Room or Church to its set up before class
7. Lock up doors
8. Ensure no students hang around after 8:30 pm
